The Hawaii Situation

• FACT: In 1893 U.S. Marines landed in Honolulu to help a conspiracy of greedy, white sugar barons and merchants seize control of the Hawaiian Kingdom, a peaceful, sovereign, neutral nation.

  1. FACT: By the end of 1893, American President Cleveland, after conducting an official investigation, denounced America’s participation in the illegal seizure of the Hawaiian Kingdom government and stopped the attempt by the United States to annex the Hawaiian Islands.

  2. FACT: In 1894, to avoid being charged in the Hawaiian Kingdom for the crime of high treason, the rebels proclaimed that they were the leaders of “The Republic of Hawaii,” supplanting the Hawaiian Kingdom.

  3. FACT: In 1897 the “Republic of Hawaii” attempted to become annexed to the United States. It failed because of the strong opposition by the Hawaiian subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

• FACT: In 1898 using an entirely illegal procedure, the U.S. annexed the fake “Republic of Hawaii,” calling it the “Territory of Hawaii,” then morphing it into today’s fake “State of Hawaii.”

  1. FACT: At no time during those dealings were the sovereignty or the lands of the Hawaiian Kingdom ever transferred or relinquished or extinguished.

  2. FACT: Under international law, the Hawaiian Kingdom is regarded today as a “nation in continuity" — continuing to exist as a sovereign country.

  3. FACT: Through the imposition of civilian settlers, military bases, American laws and propaganda, the U.S. was able to gain complete political and economic control over the Hawaiian Islands, while creating the perception of legitimacy.

  4. FACT: The “State of Hawaii” is a corporate entity created by the United States to conduct criminal activities in the Kingdom of the Hawaiian Islands, a country foreign to the U.S.

  5. FACT: In the case of the Hawaiian Islands, the United States’ presence and activities are totally unlawful and illegitimate and can best be described as an elaborate criminal enterprise.

  6. FACT: Thus the terms “colonization” or ”occupation” do not readily apply to the situation in the Hawaiian Islands as they describe certain legal status and conditions under international law.

• FACT: Hawaiian Subjects (a.k.a. Hawaiian nationals) have stepped forward to reactivate and liberate the Hawaiian Kingdom from the grip of the U.S. criminal enterprise;

• FACT: The United States, under international law, is obligated to relinquish control of the Hawaiian Islands and assist in restoring the Hawaiian Kingdom;

• FACT: The United States and its puppet government, the “State of Hawaii” ignores international laws, refusing to relinquish control; using repressive acts against those trying to liberate the Hawaiian Kingdom;

• FACT: The international community is obligated by law and by treaty to assist in the liberation of the Hawaiian Kingdom and its restoration as an independent country;

• FACT: Hawaiian Nationals are being targeted for discrimination and persecution by the U.S., the “State of Hawaii” and businesses operating in the “State of Hawaii”;

  1. FACT: Hawaiian Nationals have been patiently following a peaceful path to freedom in the international arena and in the local community, confident that liberating Hawaii from occupation is feasible and attainable.

  2. FACT: Hawaiian Nationals are succeeding in educating international organizations and the international courts of our situation. International actions to help liberate the Hawaiian Kingdom is expected soon.

Because of these facts and because of our love for our land (Aloha ʻĀina) we believe it is our sacred duty to persevere and do all we can to restore our nation.
